Heritage International School

Heritage School of the Arts is a private Christian school for grades 1 through 12 located in Toronto, Ontario. HSA is organized into the Elementary School (Grades 1-6), the Junior High School (Grades 7-8) and High School (Grades 9-12). We provide a strong academic curriculum as well as Arts programs in Visual Arts, Drama (Musical Theatre), Music (Band, Orchestra), Physical Education, and extra-curricular program. We also give an environment that is friendly and conducive to learning for individuals of all ages.

Each school year is divided into four parts.


Term 1 – September to November
Term 2 – December to March
Term 3– March to June
Summer School (Optional) – July to August

In each Term, students have the opportunity to take a minimum of 2 courses to obtain 2 credits, with the option to gain 2 Arts credits, for a maximum 8 to 10 credits per year.

Reporting Periods
Final examinations take place at the end of each Term. During the year, parents or guardians will receive three or four formal progress reports once during the middle of the Term and three or four final reports at the end of Term. Parents should feel free to contact the school at anytime for an update on their students’ progress.
