The Canadian College of Performing Arts (CCPA) offers three post-secondary conservatory style training programs built on education, artistic excellence and community. Classes in acting, singing, dance, and career management are offered to the highest professional standards by elite faculty and guest artists, to produce well-rounded performing artists of exceptional caliber with a strong work ethic and business acumen.
The Performing Arts Diploma (18 months) offers advanced post-secondary instruction in acting, singing, dance, & career development.
The Performing Arts Certificate (8 months) is tailored for individuals who have completed a relevant post-secondary program or worked professionally and wish to upgrade and augment their skills. Placements are customized based on the applicant's experience and skill.
The Applied Performing Arts Diploma (6 months) provides individuals who have completed a relevant post-secondary program or worked professionally the opportunity to apply and expand their skills and performance portfolio in a cooperative company environment. Working with notable professional directors from the Canadian theatre industry on three productions, the company is mentored by experts in all aspects of theatre production as well as receiving advanced training in screen & voice acting.
CCPA has trained over 850 artists who have successfully entered the industry as:
performers on stage, film, television and recording studios
writers, composers, and choreographers
arts administrators
teachers and mentors; and
leaders in social justice and cultural practice

We are currently hiring an Assistant to the Managing Director for a 9-Week paid summer internship.
This is a unique internship opportunity to work alongside an experienced arts leader and gain experience across a variety of business and administrative aspects of running a creative organisation. As this position is linked to a specific, funded scheme there are eligibility requirements. The applicant must be:
a post-secondary student enrolled in a recognized Canadian PSE institution (university, college, CEGEP, polytechnic)
a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or a person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with provincial/territorial legislation and regulations
